A textile house built on material, memory and long relationships.

There is a certain quietness to a good shawl. You feel it before you see it — in the fall of the fabric, the warmth at the neck, the trace of a hand behind every mark.
Founded in 1987, KB Shawls is a family-led manufacturer and trader working across Delhi, Kashmir and Najibabad. We bring regional craft traditions into conversation with the needs of contemporary wardrobes, boutiques and buyers. Our work begins with relationships: with the people who source the fibre, paint the motifs, embroider the ground and finish each piece. We source, develop and trade with a close eye on material, finish and provenance, so every shawl carries both beauty and trust.

Pashmina Kalamkari

Soft as a held breath, alive with hand-painted flora. Our Kalamkari shawls pair fine pashmina with Fine pashmina base, Hand-painted Kalamkari motifs, Small-batch colour stories the ancient language of natural pigment and patient linework.

What we do

The making of Hands leave a trace.

Our role is not to make the work anonymous. It is to carry a maker’s patience into a finished piece that can travel.

Material first

We begin with the hand: the softness of a pashmina fibre, the weight of a wool ground, the way pigment settles into cloth.

People, not process

Our network is built on long relationships with dyers, painters, embroiderers and finishers across Kashmir, Delhi and Najibabad.

A considered finish

Each piece is checked, pressed and prepared in-house before it leaves us. The last touch is as important as the first.
